CARICC delegation meets with OSCE representatives

While CARICC delegation participated in the 69th Session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs they had a working meeting with leadership and staff of the OSCE Transnational Threats Department in Vienna on 10 March 2026.

The meeting was joined by representatives of the OSCE Programme Office in Astana.

During the talks parties discussed state of affairs and prospects for cooperation, with a particular focus on strengthening collaboration in countering modern transnational challenges and threats. Especially, they explored opportunities to deepen partnership in combating cybercrime, including sharing experience and best practices.

Considerable attention was devoted to organization and delivery of joint training programs for law enforcement staff of member states. Both parties expressed interest in conducting joint training sessions aimed at enhancing professional capabilities of specialists and strengthening regional interaction.

Concluding the meeting, participants expressed mutual commitment to further developing practical cooperation and implementing joint initiatives within the mandates of CARICC and OSCE.
