CARICC employee visits Targeting Center of KPSU under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan

CARICC staff member conducted a working mission to Targeting Center of the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 25 May 2026 to promote bilateral cooperation. Main attention was focused on incorporating artificial intelligence technologies into analytical processes and development of an “International Early Warning System for Threats in CARICC Countries”.
Parties discussed the use of AI to predict drug threats, monitoring of cyberspace (including cryptocurrencies and darkweb), integration of information systems, and expansion of information sharing.
Important results included a principle agreement to launch a joint initiative to build a regional early warning system for drug threats, with the potential to expand it to all CARICC participating countries. The visit reinforced mutual interest in establishing a sustainable analytical partnership and moving toward practical delivery of joint digital projects.
